We grow a lot of Rhubarb at Union Orchard.  Used for special deserts and Country Wine, Rhubarb is a special Spring Treat. Come on out and have a tasty treat and let the kids spend some time in the Country.

Country Band

The 4 on the Floor Band is based out of Omaha, Nebraska and plays everything from traditional country music to all the current hits on country radio today as well as some classic favorites that cross over to engage all ages.  Sing alongs and participation songs keep the dance floor packed and music flowing song after song for an energetic, high performance, family show.

Storyteller: Mariah Monohan

Mariah Monahan, speaking with an Irish brogue and in period costume, depicts a Nebraska settler between 1847 and 1885.  Based on historical fact, Mariah, captivates the audience in a dramatic rendition. You’ll be transported in time, sailing the ocean, riding the wagon trail, feeling the loneliness and fighting prairie fires. Laugh and cry with stories of successful crops, dancing, hard work, losing loved ones and most importantly, becoming an American.

For this tropical experience, this incredible six piece band performs Jimmy Buffett’s greatest hits including Margarittaville, Come Monday, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Volcano, Boat Drinks and dozens More.  ‘Dance of a ParrottHead” features some of the finest musicians in the Midwest, and will bring an island party that you will never forget.  Kick off your shoes, throw on a Hawaiian shirt, and dance the night away to the music of one of the legends of music, the one and Only Jimmy Buffett.

Story of Daniel Freeman: America's First Homesteader
Storyteller: Darrel Draper

Daniel Freeman (1826-1908) lived most of his life on the Western Frontier of America. As a doctor, Civil War Officer, coroner, and County Sheriff, Freeman had many unique experiences while living in America’s first homestead under the 1863 Homestead Act. Freeman describes life as a pioneer and the changes that Nebraska and America were going through during the 19th century in this 45-minute costumed presentation that gives audience members insight into his life, family, and frontier legacy.

Following the Nebraska Humanities Program, The Omaha Astronomical Society will set up their telescopes to view the full moon as well as Saturn and Jupiter!

Story of Buffalo Bill
Storyteller: Terry Lane

William F. Cody reflects on his life as express messenger, teamster, buffalo hunter, scout, actor, showman and builder of the West through a series of true-life adventures–from Bill’s perspective, of course. 

Terry Lane has portrayed Buffalo Bill Cody since 1998 and has been the official Nebraska State Buffalo Bill and the Nebraska Division of Travel and Tourism “Nebraska Bill” since 2001. Lane’s education is in U.S. history. Lane appears nationwide with his 1st person stage play “Meet Buffalo Bill”.

Rock n Roll Band

Jacked is a fun rock and roll band experience, covering all genres of rock including metal, punk, country, pop, grunge, hard rock, and more! They make their concert fun by playing killer tunes and learning a few new songs that guests might like to hear as well. 

Jacked also does Live Band Karaoke where they make you and your guests the rock stars!!!! Select the songs you want to sing, they will provide the words and you will have your very own band backing you up while you belt out a tune or two!

Country Duo

The Time Burners is a husband and wife Americana music duo.  They play a mix of 50's, 60's rockabilly, classic country and roots music. They also do a sample of original music that falls in the Americana category.
